MISS LAUREN
Principal
'I started dancing when I was just 3 years old and have never stopped, I grew such passion and love for it. From my training in Colchester where I worked through my ISTD dance exams, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in teaching and passing on my passion for dance to others.
I successfully auditioned for The Dance College and started my three year full time teacher training course. I finished college with Advanced 2 Tap, Advanced 2 Modern, Intermediate Ballet and Intermediate National and also my DDE teaching qualifications in Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap.
Whilst at dance college, I started teaching at various dance schools to build my experience and knowledge. Having had lots of success as a teacher at other schools with high exam results for students, and many successfully auditioning for London Dance colleges such as Sylvia Youngs Theatre School. It has been such a privilege to get to see my students performing in West End shows such as Billy Elliot and English Youth Ballet Company.
I started LL Dance & Fitness in 2016 with only a PreSchool and FitSteps class.'

Chloe
Teaching & Admin Assistant
“Chloe started ballet at the age of 3 where her passion for dancing began to grow, before she also took up tap, then moving onto Jazz with The Suffolk School of Dance. When this school became LL Dance & Fitness she then started Modern with Miss Lauren. She has since obtained her Grade 6 Tap and Modern qualifications, Silver Jazz award and Grade 4 Ballet, now continuing her vocational ISTD grades alongside university studies.
She began assisting Miss Lauren in PrePrimary classes in Hadleigh and has since also helped in Primary Ballet and Modern as well as workshops in school holidays. She says, “it is an absolute delight to see the students improve each week and grow as dancers and I hope to be able to continue to assist in these classes”.
She has also taken on the role of Admin Assistant, handling bookings for workshops and general emails, to ensure that our behind the scenes run as smoothly as possible, working closely with the LL Dance team.”
